Personnel performance appraisal system is a regular review of an employee’s job performance and overall contribution to a company.
Definition of Performance Appraisal Also known as ‘Annual Review’, ‘Employee Appraisal’. In this process, the employee’s skills, achievements, and growth, or lack thereof, are evaluated. Companies use the performance evaluation system to give feedback in a more correct and clear way at work and justify the increase of wages and bonuses, as well as decision on the termination of work.
Performance evaluation can be done at any given time, but most organizations and managers do it every 6 months or annually due to saving time and money.
